ARMANDO ALVARADO

Assistant Construction Manager

Armando Alvarado joined NHPF in 2021 and is based in Washington, DC. He is involved in the oversight of multifamily renovation and new construction projects. His responsibilities include management and coordination with contractors, architects, other stakeholders and partners to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. Some of his responsibilities also include site inspections, review of change orders, review of scope of work, review of architectural drawings, review of draw packages; and monitoring of measurable construction results to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. Armando leads the CM Team’s efforts in its efforts to achieve a measurable level of sustainability on every project.

Armando received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, with a minor in Sustainability, from The University of Maryland, College Park. While completing an internship at the NHP Foundation, he went on to earn his
Master of Real Estate Development degree also from The University of Maryland, College Park.
