Nish Desai joined The NHP Foundation in 2023 as a Senior Financial Analyst for Acquisitions. In his role, Mr. Desai is responsible for underwriting, analyzing, and executing real estate acquisitions.
His experience includes the acquisition, development, operations, and disposition of assets ranging from multifamily and office assets to data center and industrial assets. In his previous role, Mr. Desai executed investment underwriting, performed market research, and reported on investments to support both Investment and Portfolio & Asset Management teams. In the process, he assisted in developing acquisition and restructuring strategies, as well as investment plan implementations.
Aside from his professional experience, Mr. Desai is an avid musician and cook. He has been playing the guitar for over 15 years and studied jazz guitar for most of that time. He has also performed at various local venues, including the 9:30 Club and Songbyrd Café.
