In 2019, NHPF acquired two luxury apartment complexes in the high-opportunity North Post Oak neighborhood.

The portfolio consists of 247 units at 1300 North Post Oak and 330 units at North Post Oak Lofts. The organization has preserved 51% of the units for households at or below 80% of the AMI, including fourteen apartments serving families earning less than 50% of AMI.

The remaining 49% of the units are offered at market-rate rents. Residents include teachers, public safety officers, and young professionals. These properties are a successful example of mixed-income living that affirmatively furthers fair housing by offering lower-income families high-quality housing in an amenity-rich area.
