The Bella
Affordable Mountain Living in Frisco, Colorado
The Bella is a new 52-unit affordable housing community being developed by The NHP Foundation (NHPF). Located near NHPF’s 54-unit workforce housing community, The Scout, it is NHPF’s first Low-Income Housing Tax Credit development in Colorado and its second community in Frisco.
The Bella will offer energy-efficient studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments for households earning 30%, 60% and 80% of Area Median Income, with average affordability of 60% AMI. Rents and eligibility will follow federal LIHTC requirements. Completion is anticipated in November 2027.
Together, The Bella and The Scout will create 106 homes for people living and working in Frisco and Summit County.
The development was made possible through a partnership with the Town of Frisco, which provided approximately $4.9 million in financing, a property tax abatement and support for land, infrastructure and commercial-space funding. Additional financing includes federal and Colorado Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, U.S. Bank, Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust, and the Colorado Department of Housing.
