Michael D. Simon joined The NHP Foundation in 2018. As a member of the acquisition/development and group, he is primarily responsible for supporting the financing, development, and preservation of multifamily housing.
Mr. Simon has more than 15 years of professional experience in the affordable housing industry. Prior to joining NHPF, he worked at several of the industry’s leading public accounting firms. Mr. Simon has extensive tax and accounting experience with mixed-use tax credit and tax-exempt-bond financed developments.
Mr. Simon earned a B.S. in Business Administration-Accounting from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University
