With over 20 years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, and organizational management, Eleon brings extensive expertise to her role at NHPF. Her ability to build strong relationships with diverse internal and external business partners has led to significant achievements, including securing a $1 million PPP loan for NHPF during the pandemic, implementing technology-driven efficiencies, strengthening internal controls, and improving transparency. She also reduced payroll costs by $800K annually and saved $1 million per year by discontinuing certain outsourced accounting functions.
Eleon has 13 years of experience as a controller for Catholic Charities of Brooklyn & Queens, along with fiduciary roles at The Related Companies and Radin, Glass & Co., LLP.
At NHPF, she leads the finance team and provides critical financial insights on affordable housing transactions and operations. Her work supports internal decision-making and ensures accurate financial reporting to third parties for NHPF, its subsidiaries, and affiliated entities.
Eleon has a BBA in Accounting from Bernard Baruch College and an Executive MBA from St. Joseph College.
