Ebony L. Johnson, with over 10 years in the affordable housing industry, has experience in project management, strategic planning, and research. She also has experience in administration of resident and economic development programs and coordination of community services. Ebony has worked with The Community Builders Inc. on the redevelopment and relocation of Park Morton. Ms. Johnson worked for Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority for over seven years, where she was responsible for oversight and management of several HUD funded programs including but not limited to Jobs Plus and ROSS. She has excelled in cultivating internal and external stakeholder, residents, and resident council relationships to create partnerships that promote housing, financial stability, health, and social engagement. Ebony holds a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Urban Policy, both from Norfolk State University, and has served on several boards in the Hampton Roads Area.
