Rebecca Ely joined Operation Pathways, a subsidiary of the NHP Foundation (NHPF) in 2023. As Director of Resource Development, Ely is responsible for the overall development and implementation of all funding initiatives of Operation Pathways. She works closely and in cooperation with the Office of Communications of NHPF, to elevate Operation Pathways’ recognition nationally and develop sustainable funding relationships. She also works with site-based resident services staff across the country on local funding initiatives.
Ely has extensive management and fundraising experience in the non-profit sector and a strong record of success in raising funds through annual funds, grants, corporate sponsorships, and major gifts. As Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Jubilee Housing for five years, she elevated the organization’s brand and profile, increased the budget by $1M, and raised a combined $13M for impact investment funds to acquire new properties. Ely attained an MBA in Human Services from Brandeis’ Heller School of Social Policy and Management.
Aside from her professional experience, she can be found cheering for her two teenage boys on sidelines of lacrosse field and basketball courts or walking their beloved dog, Casper. She is also a member of Leadership Greater Washington’s Class of 2021.
